DNA mutation:
The TP53 gene is known to have a suppressing effect on the tumors in the body. If this gene gets mutated somehow, there can be a higher chance of a tumor resulting in cancer. Most commonly it can lead to Basal cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma. This gene is really important for the death of tumor cells if any arrive. Without it being right present in the body, the skin will have little to no defense against cancer.
